It’s Monday! Yiiipeeeee!
This week are covering the importance of
“Leadership is a mindset that shifts from being a victim to creating results. Any one of us can demonstrate leadership in our work and within our lives.”-Robin S. Sharma
We have all been victimized before or fallen prey to something. But you can’t allow yourself to remain a victim. We are called to be courageous and use our happenstances to become better. There is a reason I reference Oprah Winfrey so much she is a proven survivor. Instead of allowing her circumstances make her just another statistic she chose to find the beauty in them and create a better life for herself.
I can name countless others who have done the same. You and i are no different. Forget about yesterday’s loss .
Seriously writing, you can’t be 30 years old still crying about what happened to you in grade school. That was over 20 years ago.
Forgive those who hurt you and move on you aren’t really freeing them you are freeing yourself.
Let’s take for example now as an adult;
Perhaps, you made bad business decision now you’re bankrupt. Okay, what you should do is find a away to fund your new venture and move on. Stop living in the past. You can only change your life when you change your mind.
Start seeing yourself today as triumphant person. Let go of all the victimizing thoughts , they aren’t helping you.
“The first step is to understand that forgiveness does not exonerate the perpetrator. Forgiveness liberates the victim. It’s a gift you give yourself.”-TD Jakes
Focus on today and build a brighter future.
Awesome is as awesome does.
